IMO if it were up to me FFXIV would be using a licensed copy of Riot's Vanguard anti-cheat. I pretend PvP doesn't exist in multiplayer games for a reason. Unfortunately we'd lose reshade (fancy gfx) and specialk (fixes borderless fullscreen and variable refresh rate) access if FFXIV gained an anti-cheat.

And we'd gain absolutely nothing for it. pvp is already a joke in this game, long before you even think about loading into a match that has a cheater in it.
