This is my objective opinion sorry if people don't agree. After playing the game for a couple years these just are the things me and others have wanted to see.
general
-fix early level experience for all jobs even new ones
-no more 2 minute rotation revert back to SHB
-more development focus on FF14 as a whole at least since FF16 is now out
tanks
-make heart of light and dark missionary better some comps are objectively worse for prog and certain mechanics (make them similar to addle or feint with 5% phys reduction added to the 10% magic reduction)
DRK
-blackest night should be 500mp or combined with oblation as a trait or both (oblation is bloat)
-shadowbringer should be condensed into flood/edge of darkness maybe like after X uses of edge/flood you get a proc for shadowbringer
-dark mind is bad make it better, magic mit has no use at all for a tank besides specific scenarios most tanks with actual damage reduction get way more out of it than DRK with dark mind
healers
-bring back cleric stance
SCH
-bring back shadowflare
AST
-bring back unique card buffs
SGE
-make it an actual dps healer more damage buttons that heal but main focus of damage (i feel like they are too scared to go all in making it actually function like a dps I'd like to see it have interesting things to it's rotation like GNB)
melee
SAM
-bring back kaiten(please)
-condense some of the buttons (tsubame giaeshi should be on the same button as iajitsu)
-hagakure should be removed
DRG
-everything (getting reworked anyway)
NIN
-ten-chi-jin needs to let you move if not everywhere then in a small area where cast like black mage ley lines
-kassatsu shouldn't make you rabbit when you use it and then use a weaponskill
-forked and fleeting raiju shouldn't be different buttons they literally have the same function and damage either make it a combo or don't have it at all (having forked change into fleeting with more damage)
-not losing raiju stacks when you use a weapon skill it is so dumb
MNK
-bring back all positionals
phys ranged
MCH
-make it better it is in a weird spot when compared to other phys ranged or even other dps
BRD
-bring back old procs they added charges to bloodletter but people only asked for it because of procs used to go off your 2 dots
caster
RDM
-too simple not a bad thing still want more depth and not another finisher for your combo
SMN
-legacy SMN players depressed the only other job that has dots in the game now is BRD but not as interesting as old SMN (new SMN is a good redesign but legacy players have nowhere to go)
new jobs
-machine gun caster similar to specter from GW2 with stacking dots to manage (MNK but as a caster fast gcd and hectic but fun)
-dot caster
-hopefully get 1 tank, 1 healer, 1 caster (asking for a lot but in a perfect world this would be a nice surprise)
