Yes, the beast tribes aren't tedious and ask no more than 5-10 minutes of your time each day, while telling an interesting story about the beast tribe.

The same with the MSQ, where you are asked to kill no more than a few enemies instead of hundreds which just gets tedious. Dungeons usually ask no more than 20 minutes of your time as well.

All of this makes it easier to stop and take a break to eat, do house work or whatever else you need to do instead of being stuck in the middle of something that you can't stop all day.
