after more than a decade of contributing to Blizzard, going through their "unpaid internship testing program" that they call their test realms and seeing that generally they couldnt give a flying one about what their paying customers thought, and seeing a continuation of that in OW2, I would have to agree Blizzard does indeed suck

If I make a genuine post about how great housing is (in my eyes, I personally like how the housing system is) and how social FFXIV is and how nice it feels to have a lot of people to communicate with, I dont need to add "ok the game is very social and i love housing but honestly blizzard sucks lol SE is so lit you cant prove me wrong bro"

Yet you rarely have anything positive about the game to share in forum discussions. You're mostly a wall of negativity.

Shouldn't be hard to understand why some are skeptical.

Certainly developers need to know where players see the greatest need for improvement but they also need to know what they're doing right that keeps players coming back.

You've mentioned in the past you like the housing. Is that the only incentive for you to maintain multiple accounts or are there other game features that you're also enjoying?

I mean lets just be honest here, what people think of me I couldnt care less about, the forums are not a popularity contest, I dont need or want people to agree with me, I will say what I think, if people agree, that's amazing, if they disagree, that's totally fine.

As for housing yes, housing is my main activity in the game, I do some content on my NA character that I recently moved to EU (NA ping was just too annoying really), but mostly I just use FFXIV as a social place to hang out with my friends and do housing, and some MB stuff of course on the side.

I take is meaning to be more than a qualifier that they have played something else usually. you know, like an example that, yes, I think x is wonderful, I have played y and it bites as a comparison. I try very hard not to assume that most first time posters are troll accounts.

although, since you like housing, I do have to ask... do you not find the placement, especially of things like furniture in lofts rather... inconvenient? after going through that, the devs that make the cities and homes for npc's are either gods, or have tools we do not, which I think should really change.

(by the way, not that it matters but I really dont mind you lol, sometimes I agree, sometimes I do not, but I usually just ask things for clarification in my own head)

Hold up. You had me at Outlast, lost me at trials. Had to Google it. I did NOT know this game existed. Without too much spoilage, is it as good as the previous installments?

As to not break away, the game is good. Biggest gripe is the subtitles could be much bigger.

For the first part of your post, I can agree and its okay to use a comparison ,it's just the whole "ffxiv good wow trash" that is very trollish and it's honestly hard to feel like a thread is genuine with that take, let alone the "ye you wont convince me otherwise" as if people care enough to or that somehow we should try and change their opinion, it just seem very childish ?

As for housing it's okay really, the system itself for inside decorations is enough by design though yup lol, thankfully I am more the garden decorator type

It's amazing really, one of the best rated horror game right now on Steam and from my personal experience it's amazing too, replayability is good, it's basically Outlast but with multiplayer as 2,3 or 4 players (or solo) in different maps a la dead by daylight but with players agaisnt AI instead

I definitely recommend if you like horror games and dont mind multiplayer
