1. More buttons and ability access. Do EXACTLY what Streetfighter 6 did. People too lazy/incompetent/casual can stick with the 12 button simplified stuff currently. On the other hand, people willing to invest the time to learn to maximize abilities, and more importantly write pvp macros and combine buttons anyway (which made multiple buttons NEVER an issue in the first place) can have access to the luscious versatility we lost. Will this create a skill gap? Aaaabsolutely, but the utility is very fairly there for all to put to use. Stop penalizing people with passion for lazy ones.
2.Return both 8 vs 8’s in the Wolves Den and 24-man matches to Frontlines and simply make then 100% solo que. Premade ruined the 24s, so eliminate that but keep the rest. Currently, dealing with mass Frontlines, doing 99% damage on a target as a melee just to have 20 ranged dps steal the last hit while you’re raindrop dancing between 30 brainless drks isn’t fun, it’s an exercise in sanity. 24 mans made people have to pull their weight more, in addition to giving waaaaaaay more opportunities for duels and such, verses run in 5 seconds and pray the lag gods don’t see ya.
3. Stop. Watering. Stuff. Down. Remember when war was a one man-army with Retaliate > Berserk > Bloodbath? Remember when mch took off your face if you even looked at it funny? When brd was a ranged job and not a community servicing bottom loving pool stick player? The devs, in favor of driving the team element so hard you can’t eat a cheeseburger without 2-3 people holding it for you, water down jobs to the point of breakage. (Ask any oldschool mnk how they feel about having all their spammable abilities converted to gcds) Let pvp get exciting again. Push up the damage.
