    Make frontlines great (again?)
    -Reduce the number of players in frontlines matches.
    -New Frontlines map as well as a rework of Borderland ruins that introduces more interesting map styles (CTF, Raw deathmatch, KoTH)
    (I'm not going to mention fixes to deal with server tick because we all know that's not coming, but it would be the solution for a large amount of frustration about PvP.)

    Better rewards structure for ranked players, and casuals.
    -Unique armor sets as a reward for achieving certain ranks in ranked PvP. (And do not introduce an easy to obtain recolor of the same set.)
    -Increase Crystal cap to 50,000 crystals, introduce previous season rewards into shop for 20-30k to purchase.
    -Stop putting recolors of already existing gear nobody likes into the shop.

    Devs recognize the existence of Rival Wings.
    -RW roulette.
    -More RW maps.
    -Astragalos rework when?

    I think the skillsets overall encompass the essence of the jobs quite well atm - more buttons would be too hectic to use imo - 12 seems like a nice button layout to be easy enough for you to focus on the battle instead of your hotbars.

    Still there's always room to evolve the kits to fit even better to their original class fantasy so I'd like to see that instead of stripping off flavour for balance sake (like Zantetsuken was always a 1-hit ko move)


    A new mode that allows fast games like CC would be welcomed - maybe a 3vs3vs3 one where you can queue up with other people and hopefully not too complicated full of rules that noone understands and need a 1h tutorial to understand (looking at you Rival Wings)

    Or something completely different like a sportsgame camouflaged as pvp (think beach volley, blitzball style) where you need to pay attention to the ball while being able to disrupt others with skills
    And of course similar skills like pass, foul and some job specific skills lol - Fast and casual fun

    My reasonable feature wishlist:

    - Change ranked CC to be a premade team play instead of a random queue. Let teams register with cool things like team name, group portrait, emblem, etc. Allow people to queue for expectator mode to land in one of those matches.

    - A different Crystalline Conflict map layout instead of just a reskin + gimmicks;

    - A new 5-8 people team mode, because Crystalline Conflict as the only really balanced (ish) PVP mode gets old fast. Flag carrier is one of the best examples of a new small scale pvp mode that can be added;

    - Blue Mage added to the PVP composition. Every job is completely changed to PVP, so there's no reason to hold them letting BLU lovers have - at least - that feature to play alongside other jobs;

    - Objective instructions during Frontlines. It's wild to me how a lot of people join those without reading the NPC's instructions and just running around like crazy bugs. Just add a message panel popup somewhere before the match starts;

    - I feel they can expand the job's kits a little bit further while still keeping the same type of complexity. Maybe with more situational actions, and defnitely a second (third in SMN's case) option of Limit Break. I main DNC in PVP and while I know Contradance is one of the most powerful, it is so situational that I really miss a more usable one sometimes (especially when I land with a bad comp that doesn't know how to coordinate and take full advantage of the charm).

    Spectator queue might be cool, but team queued would absolutely not. I wish the game had enough population to support a premades queue, but it does not. If you introduced teamQ, soloQ would immediately die and the top of the leaderboard would become even more closed and cliquish than it already is. I could see party queueing being fun for casual though, if the matchmaking tries to match similarly sized stacks.

    I think just having a few more buttons would be good because I think CC is just a few buttons short of having a good amount for their kit. Specifically though I kind of want more survivability tools for maybe almost everyone since I think TTK in general is a bit to fast and I think this would be a good way to make it better. Kind of like old feast where you had to think about using defensives in order to live longer. I personally think it would be fine for CC, which is what they mostly balance for anyway, and it can also benefit FL so they can surely nerf that massive DR that is horrible to play with.

    - More survivability for ranged DPS (I'd take anything at this point, a bit higher HP pools averaging 55k HP, or some actual mitigators)
    - Fixing the automatch to even the "roles" better
    - Duo queues for casual mode, with a matchmaker trying to field an equal amount of duos in both teams
    - More reactive Purify
    - Louder, more identifiable Silence sound effect when you get silenced
    - A decent objective UI clearly showing which side on the progress bar you're on, and a visual/sound timer when the time is about to be up before overtime or victory (it's silly we still don't have anything telling you if you're on the left or right and who is winning and when)
    - Removing the hitbox edges around the walls in volcano map

    Well I’m not sure what to add in terms of skill, because I think that will ultimately depend somewhat on the PVE 7.0 skills, but I would like The Feast back. I want to just throw hands without worrying about an objective. Also a CC/feast roulette would be nice, and queuing with me friends in CC too. That is my hopium

    My Final Thoughts

    TL : DR : majority that is being said here has been said back in the previous thread. Not worth reading if you have been keeping up with the threads since 6.1.

    This is probably going to be the only thread that I decide to interact with until it fades into an artifact which at that point there will finally be a reason to not look at the forums ever again. I have taken a break to play other games, and doing so has only convinced me to not give any more opinions as to how games should be.

    Anyways, I was crazy enough to write a ton of pages stating what need to change, what needs to be thought of more, and what needs to go. I will not be wasting my time doing so in the near future. While I did list my biases I made sure to highlight as much of it as possible to keep from detracting from the main message. I was about to start my own thread but figured that I'll be here since there was already a thread about the future of pvp. I'm pretty certain that there was a bit more to add to this. However, this amount of information should be more than enough to get the message across: just be more involved with pvp.

    I think we have gone through some of these before, but having some adjustments to how teams are formed would be great. Like giving more weight to total melee vs ranged and tanks/healer count (more 1t4dps vs 1h4dps instead of 1t1h3dps vs 5dps for example).

    It would be nice if Purify could be pre-cast as shield and have the extended effect still happen if someone was foolish enough to toss cc into it.

    Quickchat total overhaul, don't repeat sound effects for different things, add visuals for commands (small icon of your Job above the enemy you are targeting while using Attacking X for example).

    Maybe slightly increase total hp across the board and add another ability to all Jobs.
