    Unless you're talking about stuff like the Eureka/Bozja raids, cause then that makes sense.

    If you miss Coil style design all I can say is that I don't quite get it, but I can't really question a personal preference.
    I think it's more of Coil and Alexander were more like a raid because they essentially strung together a sequence of party based activity to enter and progress through an area. Though IMO a fair amount of the raiding aspect was lost due to the tiered stage design. Even Coil and Alexander didn't feel like an actual raid when compared to doing things like Dynamis in FFXI.

    That's fair then. I wasn't sure what kind of raid design they were talking about.

    The Drop Rate of Minions from Dungeons / Raids are tooooooooo low. Gimme already my Tiny Troll FFS. If I have to go more to that Stupid Dungeon and listen to Amons crap, I'm gonna Rage and burn that Dungeon down. Every damn Day I am there 3-5 times and still no drop.

I think it just needs to be made to feel more welcoming and a more natural part of the game once you've finished the MSQ instead this distant, optional part of the game that feels inevitably daunting.
    Those are some good ideas. Rotation might be a little tricky, though. There's not much in the game that establishes a full rotation. The information is there but it's not like the game lights up buttons outside of combos or such. So it might be hard for the game itself to explain something the community did the numbers on. Plus there are differences even in the community based on certain stats sometimes.

    The game has casual and hardcore content, and bridging that gap as a new player feels impossible, new players are not treated as capable, they are treated as purse puppies to vets that want to feel superior, making friends is hard, there are very little in game activities that encourage being social, trying to find a static that is ok with an inexperienced player wanting to learn is like pulling teeth.. learning your rotation for some classes is impossible without out of game data that obtained from means that would get the average player banned, but you have to beat that enrage time that was tuned way to high. all for the the sake of only 4 raid fights per entire raid season, but dont worry you can do the new EX trial that no one if progging a week after release, except the farm grp that wont take you because you missed the launch by a couple of days.

    tldr: trying to go from a solo casual to a content completing team player feels impossible at times.

    Talk bad about CT all you want....but after Getting it again recently, LotA and Fights like Cerberus are mechanically pretty Great.
    FFXIV really does need some more Raids with some Unique Mechanics that Require Different Jobs for each Alliance

    Alexander at least still felt like you're raiding an actual place, slowly progressing through the interior of a robot that seems to be a city as well, where people actually live.

    The raids since then feel like a bunch of arenas with pretty skyboxes, loosely strung together.

    People gaslight themselves that long hairstyles will clip, but we only have 1 or 2 medium length hairstyles.
