I remember when it was first added players were disappointed it wasn't like Pokemon which was what it was expected to be - I suspect Verminion ended up the way it was because of a mistaken belief on SE's part that RTS games are big in Asia or something. *shrugs*.
Housing was a mistake and should be completely removed from the game.
This savage tier was the worst ever for the skill level of the average player that raids, might completely quit it and just do crafting/gathering with relic stuff now.
So, there is an arcade game (Lord of Vermilion) that utilizes physical cards where you move the cards around on a board kinda like a RTS, and the units move to where you place the cards. It’s pretty fancy/interesting if you are into collectible card games with a twist. Not so interesting that it needed a FF in game version.
It’s also by Square Enix, so his was a cheesy plugin for another of their games, if we are being honest.

Yeah, that would be neat to play in real life but definitely failed to hit the mark in FFXIV, lol! Probably would have been slightly more interesting if Triple Triad cards were used as summon characters than our minions. So, there is an arcade game (Lord of Vermilion) that utilizes physical cards where you move the cards around on a board kinda like a RTS, and the units move to where you place the cards. still no "master baiter" title for fisher
Its cute, but I dont think it would be successful in the US.
Now...if it was Pokemon or YuGiOh...or even Magic, or Vanguard...this would be amazing.
