This argument has come up multiple times. And certain players get mad when you call it out. They like to say it is fine people pay it free blah blah... Guess what people pay hundred of dollars for other stuff that shouldn't cost that either. Doesn't make it worth defending.



I 100% agree with you the pricing is just wonky. Not even taking full games into account. Some cash stuff isn't even account wide and costs more then other free2play game sets.

Just to put it in perspective, Steam has summer sales right now, for those $18 (to be fair, for me it says 13.5 euro, idk what's the deal with this pricing), you could get either of these games and still have few bucks left:

I really like this outfit but this right here is why I probably won't be buying it. It's a really good outfit and I'd be willing to buy it for a lower price, but I can't justify paying $18 for it when I can get one of these full games for less. (multiple of them for less depending on which ones I pick) Maybe I'll get it when it goes on sale whenever that happens but the full price for this is just an outright scam. Don't buy this outfit at full price. Your money is more valuable than that. At least show some restraint and wait for it to go on sale. At least then it might be a remotely fair price.

I seriously question the sanity of anyone who thinks they're getting a good deal on this.

Generally I don't care what people do with their money, but... this is just depressing. People paying this much for cosmetics that aren't even account-wide, outright remove parts of certain races' anatomy, AND have an entire piece that is unusable by two races (while still being full price by the way) just tells SE that this is acceptable. I just don't get it.

For the WoW players, I haven't really played much in a while, were there ever gear pieces that removed tails or horns from the different races? I'm pretty sure that wasn't a thing in ESO or GW2 at all, from what I saw. I don't know why it's acceptable here.

I wouldn't even be super opposed to these things if they were fairly priced. like 5 dollars for a armor set, 8 dollars for a mount etc but these prices (that wow started to be fair) are criminal

It's cool but not my preference, also it has a cape and a hat which means the dev team ignores their races with animal tails/ ears, even thought they designed these races.
