    learning these "spells", these staff and swords can tell us things that we dont know? i remember fondly in Final Fantasy X and X-2 have the orbs which teach the user memories. I don't think they make it that clear in FFXIV

    edit: what i ment to say was, how do we learn stronger better skills after equipping the weapons. FFX-2 teaches memories, FFXI teaches us through scrolls. FFXIV teaches through??
