Off-Topic forums.

Hello!

A comment was made that a customer wishes to be able to discuss other Square Enix titles that are coming out or are presently available. I would like to let you guys know that we do have such forums at our Members Site: http://na.square-enix.com/go/forum/viewboard

While the FFXIV forum will direct you back here, you will find a plethora of Square Enix titles for you to discuss. =)

We as the players understand the point of other forums and having a forum focused on FFXIV discussion but at the same time you send us elsewhere when we rather just talk to solely the people who we play and enjoy the same game with. A lot of us like to hear the opinion of others who enjoy the same things we do and that is why we wish there to be an Off Topic thread and it isn't really that unreasonable to ask for. As someone says it causes a split in the community and we are trying to foster and promote community communication.

This. The game should be bringing us together, and the forums should acknowledge that we are diverse in our tastes and interests. We're no longer in an era where you can have a forum solely dedicated to one thing and be done. Every major site with forums has off-topic discussions or something along those lines. This should not be any different.
