Please, can we not lose the dye when storing gear in Armoire?

Now I can put gear from the store into Armoire. Finally! The problem is that I can't put some items there because they will lose the dye, which is very expensive. If we can put gear into Glamourer without losing the dye, why not do the same with Armoire?

Your asking to store detailed information, about half a page of data, into a thing that stores a yes or no checklist.

You mean, if they decided to make the thing, that stores lists of yes or no, do something else completely, taking up 16 times the space...
Yes, it would COST THEM A LOT OF MONEY... so no, they wouldn't do it. It would also make going cross server (even loading into the duties), take longer.

Is it really 16 times the data to store colour info alongside the item? (Although I do realise that the armoire stores gear differently to "real" inventory or even the dresser.)

Does the armoire data follow you cross-server or is it like retainers?

it isn't that it uses exactly 16 times, it's that it's a standard size of a data string, one of the default ones, and lazy programers don't pick the smallest possible, they pick an array that'll be able to hold anything, no matter what... and that means going for a nice large data size.

It's not as large as items in your invintory, there's things a glam dresser don't store. It's ... basically the halfway point.

This feature has existed ever since the armoire existed. Is your stuff dyed? Yes? Then be weary of putting it in the armoire. Your fault if it's dyed.
