Didn't they say they were working on a second venue for EB a while back? Though now that I think more about it, that might have been just before COVID hit. If they had been, it probably got pushed into a closet and forgotten.

But there's nothing wrong with asking for an update to the Ceremony. The 3 ceremony types have gotten pretty stale over time (even if it seems like 80% of ceremonies are the moogle kiss). With the graphics update under way, it would also be a good time to update the look of the Sanctum and decorations a bit.

There's also nothing wrong with wanting the anniversary ceremony to be different from the wedding though I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening since the anniversary is essentially a freebie instead of requiring a new fee.

I legitimately don't see how this thread is bait at all.

More options for anniversaries and weddings would be really nice. My partner and I have been married for 5 years and we don't have any reason to want to do our anniversaries.

At least one new venue with a few options to choose in there! Having an Il Mheg wedding would be a dream come true.

I don't know.. this doesn't seem to be a troll thread- I try to do a 'new' attempt to each post I bother responding to, so occasionally I know someone is known for messing with the forum but the post seems interesting enough to engage with anyways, besides I've seen people who were entirely serious being called troll because they just didn't happen to have the most popular opinion or at least for that thread, but that does mean I don't really keep a troll 'log' in my mind so I'm bad at saying if they're or not.. I more remember how someone might argue their ideas whether I agree with or not (more likely to remember someone likes to shut down conversations without engaging by saying 'lore', even if that ends up being wrong in the end anyways lol- doesn't mean they're bad just.. like "ah yes.. there is the logic that doesn't actually say what they think it says and has historically not held up, but people like to upvote anyways as if it is meaningful.. but thanks to that now the conversation appears to be dead / shifted into arguments rather than what / why might be fun. /sigh").

So I don't feel this is a troll thread, and the logic itself seems particularly reasonable "I want to do it again, but doing it again is pointless, please let me do it again in a way that makes it not pointless".. That's.. solid. Maybe I don't care for it (never used the bonding system), but why does that matter to determine they're a troll or not. Or in other words If I was the dev (am not) I would have bonding system even though I have no intention to use it.

It gets so tiring to see the same 'bait' and 'troll'-replies in every other thread.

If the OP isn't interesting or only offer bad takes, it wouldn't gain traction and just fade away. Instead the bait/troll-replies both poison every sort of discourse and constantly bump the thread at the same time.

A case of the 'medicine' being way worse than the perceived 'disease'.
