    DRK adjustments in FL? If not that, remove group queue.

    Please do something about the DRK skills in Frontline, it doesn't really scale well for anyone else who isn't also playing DRK. It is too easily abused alongside group queues in scenarios with lots of people grouped together which is exactly what Frontline is like...

    It's one thing for it to be used in CC but in Frontlines, it's a little excessive for DRK to be at 1 million-3 million damage and healing per match... please try to do something about it balancewise because it sucks the fun out of the mode when it becomes "who has more DRK+DRG+AST"... similarly SCH was having this renaissance for a bit but now it isn't as bad.

    The group queue thing even with 4 is pretty extreme IMO since a coordinated group of 4 can decimate a full random group if they stack the right comp, so if the balance of DRK itself isn't adjusted, may as well just do the CC-type solo queue only for FL as well.

    Just want to chime as someone looking from outside, how I think its funny DRK is banned in some of the PvP frontline events organized by the community, more specifically events advertised in Chaos/Light

    If its to the point people are banning DRK from FL events, it should definetly be looked into

    Unpopular opinion, the main issue DRK highlights is the lack of CC resist in FL after knockback/drawin. That and perhaps the defensive scaling being still a bit too generous.

    Changing how DRK works on a mechanical level sounds nonsensical to me.

    If anything, Id argue that LB availability is too high and completely decoupled from essentially participating in combat, something I criticized a lot in the past. The DRK-DRG-AST synergy wouldn't be nearly as unjustified if LB generation depended on performance outside of literally not dying.

    Banning DRK in events is a bandaid to what isnt purely a DRK issue.

    And asking for forced solo queue in FL/RW citing CC as an example is in poor taste given one of CC's main criticism IS the forced solo queue.

    I don't think that's an unpopular opinion as much as new players just don't know what we lost. Hopefully the defense adjustments don't take as long as last time to be looked at.

    Please don't put the idea of solo-Q-only FL into the devs' heads LOL. As it is, the reduction to a 4-stack max means I can no longer queue FL with all my friends who want to play, and FL without friends is honestly kind of depressing and pointless. DRK/DRG isn't the only issue, you should see the degeneracy that some other DC's get up to with PLD/DNC stacks, or even the SCH stacks you mentioned. The ole SMN Baha Blast is still around too. As someone else suggested in another thread, globally capping AoE at 5 targets might be a good start, although that might run into an issue of trying to fairly randomize who gets hit by each AoE button.

    As it is, FL is just fundamentally broken and unfixable when the entire system overhaul was built around CC. I know some people have been clamoring for the return of Fetter Ward, but I'm honestly not sure if that'll fix the problem. SE definitely painted themselves into a corner with the rework and it shows pretty clearly that they don't care about what happens to FL--PvP is only a collateral duty of a small number of staff, after all.

    I'm just gonna check out different MMOs or games in general for PVP, if Yoshi P wants us only playing enough to get the 25 Series Rank mount then it is what it is. Was cool to genuinely have fun with PVP and play with no ulterior motive outside of the long term mount and other achievements while it lasted. Bard changed way too much felt like it's been nerfed 3 times now while SMN/DRK/WHM/NIN/DRG/SCH still all broken with no signs of actual change it's just making me toxic at this point I'll be scaring off and killing the enjoyment of new players.

    What they need to do is bring up the 8v8v8 modes and start building from there.

    The ShB changes on mobility were also a double edged sword because every map goal mechanic is not able on its own to keep every side from staying in massive army blobs anymore, which was less the case before because you had to spread around to cover multiple objectives, and it wasn't possible to zoom across the map like you can now. But yeah, it was also a lot less funny to respawn from death and spend minutes to go back to the front.
