Aside from crafting, in that video what's interesting in DQX is for solo casual players you can hire other players to join your party as AI, and say before you logout for the night instead of rest bonus you can register at the guild counter to rent out your character, when you come back in game if you were rented out by someone else you get the rental fee + get some exp from it.

Not only that, but the housing system looks pretty awesome as well..

I do get a nagging feeling that there could be some issues with putting the afk/rental party system in this game (gear damage, loot, monopolizing, etc..), but on the surface, it seems like a great way to make earn gil and as well as give casual players access to more content...
