Agree. Just look how engaging CP is during PVP, it really gives a whole different layer of awareness to know who you should be CPing at any given moment.

Of course, in PVE I doubt it would be as dynamic, given of how scripted it is, but at least you'd have more engagement in, for example, CPìn'g certain people for their odd minute mini bursts (i.e. Trick Attack), or if your main CP is having a weakness debuff.

For sure. If it had a way to transfer Standard immediately to your new partner, it could have some really cool niche plays along the same vein as flashing Improv. Just more avenues for people to show their mastery of the job.

Regardless, even just being able to freely swap DP would be a great way to raise the skill ceiling without changing the skill floor at all for people who play more casual DNC.

That is my hopes for the future of most jobs (SMNs please!), to be honest. Everyone deserve to have that little extra "skill attic" that is even beyond good play but rewards a bit more of DPS. Exactly what BLM's Transpose Lines is. Not a requirement to complete any kind of dps check (if your party is pulling their weight that is), but a nice goal for overachievers.

I do agree that a higher skill ceiling with the same skill floor would be nice, that's always welcome for those interested.
