We need a Mystic Knight/Rune Fencer Job

FF16 is making me want that magical swordsman vibe with actual hand to hand combat. Not Red Mage. I mean elemental buffed swords, and epic attacks from the sword itself. Not a bunch of spells flung from afar, and then chained into an attack. I mean an actual swordsman. I hope that we get that niche in FFXIV someday.

Yep. I want a Mystic Knight enspeller spellsword melee tank, where I imagine their rotation has them playing very similar to SAM in that they build up Enfire, Enblizzard and Enthunder charges then unleash them all into one big attack.

I've been wanting Mystic Knight since Heavensward. If they do go with it, it's most likely going to be a melee DPS.

ルーンブレードを両手一本ずつ持っている。竜騎士とリーパー同様エネルギーが溜まったら赤フェーズに入る。
それぞれ範囲攻撃の形があると思うのですが、竜騎士は直線上、リーパーは前方三角形、魔導剣士は円形。
赤フエーズの時は魔法が使えて、遠距離から詠唱ありの攻撃が出来ます。赤魔導士の逆パターン。

Well, since the Mystic Knight is always represented by a arab swordsman (or in case of FFXI a fancy Dark Knight) I think curved blades would be more accurate.
