I want Odin Ultimate

One of the coolest Final Fantasy summons of all time, to be forgotten like it is nowadays feels like a crime. I know that at some point it was a big deal in FFXIV, but I didn't live to see it (I came after Shadowbringers) and the only time I encounter Odin is when I do Wondrous Tails, which I blast him in seconds with my lvl 90 Summoner. Can we have something cool with Odin again, please?

Not quite the same, but try doing it MINE. Odin is basically an EX that they forgot to mark as one, so that'll at least be a challenge.

If you’ve done any large scale FATE then you’ve done Odin but better. Due to the horrible server limitations you couldn’t even see him for the majority of the fight back then and would just run around where you generally thought he was spamming non-target AoEs. Then pray that the server was able to kill him before he got zantetsuken off and you watched as 2000 people dropped dead around you.

After people stopped caring about the odin FATE he was lucky enough to get an entire trial to himself which is more than other world boss FATEs have gotten, even monsters as well known as Ixion didn’t get their own trial. So I’d say he’s lucky to have gotten as much attention as he has.

As for getting his own ultimate. There’s just not enough content there. If they did say, a primal rush ultimate, where it was like a primal boss rush then I could see him making an appearance in it. But that may hit too close to the weapons refrain which already features the original trio.

My only hope for future Odin content would be for them to add an alternate version of his body armour with the cape.

That was a Fun fight back in teh day.
But I do think we are overdue, and even Deserve an Odin EX / Savage.

A whole new Fight WOULD be pretty Epic.\
Heck, give us a Behemoth King Trial and an EX / Savage Version.

I honestly just think it would eb cool, plus I dont think these FATEs see much attention anymore. So making some new fights out of them somehow would just be generally cool.

That FATE was one of the last bits of ARR content that still retained some fun/challenge. By leveling up after every defeat, he'd eventually get strong enough to really start dropping bodies.

But, after the stat squish, he was deemed too powerful and had to be nerfed. Now even the FATE is a bit of a joke.

In the FATE "Steel Reign," Odin's level will be fixed at 50.

Adjustments will be made to compensate for an unanticipated increase in difficulty caused by value downscaling implemented in Patch 6.0.

The FATE is depressingly easy now, lacking much of the death and excitement. Gone are the days when you'll see him wiping out unprepared players by the score.
