ARR Relic Quest Broken?

Hey, so...I kind of hate myself and want to try and do the ARR relic quests. I've gotten them all up to the Zenith stage. But the next quest that's in North Shroud is "Trial of the Braves" but I don't have "Up in Arms" active.

Can I still collect the atma from FATES? or am I locked out of this for good now?

Equipping a Zenith weapon is all that is needed for Atma to drop from FATEs.

ARR relics are weird in that the quest line is only ever completed once for your first weapon. After that, you simply have the starter quest from Gerolt to get your first stage, and from there you simply go out and do all the steps on your own returning to Jalzahn as needed. So you'll kinda just have to remember what each step requires (or naturally look them up).

If you're trying to do every weapon at once and keeping them all on the same stage, yes, the first weapon will need the quest to proceed, but the remainder will not, just do the steps again. For Atma in particular, all that is required is equipping a Zenith weapon, and the Atma are not flagged as unique, so you can even use the same job for the entire time and collect all the Atma you will need all at once.

Also, fair warning, Trial of the Braves is when the grind really sets in, if you're really truly intending to do every weapon stage at once..

I've started working on finishing out an ARR relic weapon as well and am in the process of trying to collect Atma. Haven't had the best luck with drop rates but it does drop.
