if you put the clock where the pasture is it faces you. Why would you want seafaring ships to see the time and you not? The clock is for you not vessels passing by.

I don't think you understand.
The clock tower faces two opposite directions.
I wanted to place it where the orange arrow is so that it faces the main cabin, but the orientation of the plots limits me to the blue arrows. The only plot that vaguely lines up is the newest one of the far right.
They should have just built the clock tower with four faces.
