That's the issue however, it doesn't play out that way in practice so Piety will still be a useless stat. Fights are currently so stuffed with body checks that recovery with raises is often impossible, so gaining an extra raise does exactly nothing because you can't actually utilize it.

In theory Piety already has a purpose, getting enough MP regen for extra healing during prog but the reality looks rather different.
