Hot Bar Troubles controller

Hi y’all,
I’m leveling my dragoon Roe but I’m at 26 and I’m needing to set up a extra hot bar for my dragoon. The problem is I’m having trouble figuring out how to do it. When I go to YouTube the ways they do it don’t make sense to me. Also I’m wanting to level quickly so I can get ready for next expansion and get awesome glamour and mounts. I’m hoping to unlock dark knight, reaper, and machinist but first I want to know how to set extra key binds and also how to add other jobs into key binds on a controller without losing everything. Please I really need help if y’all could explain slow step by step I can do this and finally play I’m on the third dungeon quest for beginners and I’m hoping to get back and enjoy the fun story and game.

On controller you can hold R1 and press the associated face button or d-pad direction to change between your 8 cross hotbars. Normally I think the first two or three are job-specific, so you don't need to worry about losing them when you change jobs. Once you have something on the second hotbar you can tap R1 to toggle between your first and second hotbar. There's also a feature where you can hold both triggers and have it display half of your second or third hotbars, and you can set L1 first then R1 to be different from R1 then L1.

under character settings>go to the hot bar settings> see picture 1make sure to enable WXHB and always display.

Then go to the 4th section called customer and set your other 2 cross bars

Once you get the hang of Hotbar switching...the game becomes much like a fighting game. R1+X does this, R1+R2+left does this.

Once you get use to a class you can just delete the hotbar visual and have a clean and open screen.
