They're slowly phasing it out, It's PS2 in Japan, but dropped for NA/EU, where it's mostly JP playerbase who still use their PS2 because indie devs and Visual Novels are still releasing on it.

Also Geomancer basically plays as a directional based Mage and ability to set Buff spheres around the battlefield/party.

Apparantly they dropped it in America/Europe. Japan will still support ps2 for the expansion.
