It was about 10 years between FFXI and FFXIV (if you discount 1.0 entirely). By no means does that mean a new FF MMO is coming out... this year :P As long as it is "profitable enough", we'll see FFXIV. But if profits fall too much, they might just get out of the MMO business and let 7.0 be the last expansion.
I too really loved the FF16 demo too, but I do not want to see FFXIV changed. I enjoy the game how it is. It's possible to like more then one combat style. You do not need to make every game a carbon copy of each other, life would actually be boaring if every game was just the same.
It would have to be a new MMO at this point, and the current tech for MMOs seems to not be able to do action combat well still. Look at New World for instance.
I agree. They should be able to whip up that change in about a half hour.Okay just played through ff16 demo, I know I'll get in trouble for posting when they find out I got on...
But please change the combat to 16s style and make graphics look like it so much better combat that keeps you interacted
I won't be replying cuz post alone is risk t.t
Hey are you doing good? ^_^
Edit: oooops just now saw the last line
Also:
Whoa that sounds so nice though

You can measure the chances of SE creating a new MMO with the tip of a sewing needle.
“Yeah, could I get a Pad Thai with fried tofu, a side of summer rolls with peanut sauce, some edamame to start, and to drink, a glass of water and a pot of hot ginger tea?”
“Sir, this is a Wendy’s drive thru.”
