Yeah I asked my reflection that and it just laughed as it said the Dreaded One is closing in and God cannot save me whilst chewing off my skin. Do with that what you will.Take a moment for self-reflection and ask yourself the following:
If you feel these forums are filled with too many criticisms and negativity towards the game, why are you still here posting and spending your time here?
Then consider your answer.
Is your life better because you stayed?

the entire reason 2.0+ exists was because of people coming to the forums and raising complaints and up until sometime between stormblood and shadowbringers the Devs were active on all the forums. I do not know the extinct that they are still active outside of pretty much just JP. Answering questions and making response to many of the very threads you see today. it was a wonderful time where there was often 1 thread, the devs would mark it for them to watch and the players would theory craft/argue it out and the devs would chime in occasionally.Take a moment for self-reflection and ask yourself the following:

This kept a large portion of the player base satisfied, as the active communication and relatively quick response times in addressing situations. For instance with casting brd/mch they kept an active communication about, of why they were sticking by there guns on it and urging the player base to keep playing it while taking and eventually removing the cast from them as the playerbase hated it with good reason who wants to cast on brd or mch. For a recent example of how they no longer do look at smn.
However during the pandemic fired many of their live translators, and stopped interacting with the English playerbase(possibly others as well). Eventually stopping the immediate translation of live letters, which they used to do. Now we wait an inconsistent 1-2 weeks for an official translation. While we have to get translations from 2ndary sources many times with small inaccuracies that lead to a lot of debate.
Many of dream of the day they come back and actually listen, and communicate with us again. saving us from the 100 threads on the same thing like they did in the old days. Instead what we get is chaos, crazyness, confusion, fighting. They let go most of their fan relation/dev translators they had on staff because of the pandemic, and SE keeps bleeding money by making overpriced gatches so I doubt we will see their return anytime soon.
After those two of your hydra's head been cut off, what's your answer then?Take a moment for self-reflection and ask yourself the following:

Don't look back, that's not the way you're going.
Do you have a source that says they fired most of the dev translators? It's worrying if that is the case but it might explain a lot.
