    No sound from game, not showing in the Volume Mixer

    Hello Team,

    I've just encountered an issue wherein the game is no longer producing any sound whatsoever. After looking at the Sound Mixer to see if maybe the game was routing to the wrong device, I realized that the game simply does not show in the Sound Mixer whatsoever.

    I run this game on Windows 11, with the latest update, and I've attempted various workarounds, such as disabling gamepad sound, restarting the game and my computer, as well as switching from Full-Screen to Borderless and regular Windowed then restarting the game. No solution so far have fixed this issue, and I have yet to see the game appear in the volume mixer again.

    Would someone be able to assist me in this? I'll next attempt to do a full reinstallation of the game if nothing else works.

    I have now attempted to completely reinstall the game, and this has not solved the issue, as the game still does not produce any sound, and does not even show on the Sound Mixer.

    I am also having the same issues. Took the same steps and still nothing. Everything was fine a week ago and now it will not show or play sound.

    We apologize for any inconvenience experienced when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV. We would like to confirm if you still require assistance with this issue?

    For us to better assist you, please respond with the following information:

    What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)
    Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?

    Any other steps taken to resolve the issue:

    We would also like to request for a System report if possible. This can be done by simply going to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display, copy the information to the clipboard and paste the details back in a response here.

    For anybody else experiencing a similar issue in this thread that requires assistance we would like to request that you create a new thread so that we can look into each individual issue more thoroughly.
