Joined the forums just to add to this thread. Brooklyn/Optimum customer here. Haven't been able to connect since yesterday morning around 7am (either 2002 or 10105 errors). I had two tickets with support yesterday and a long call with Optimum, end result was Square telling me to submit a bug report. I'm not a candidate for VPN as I'm a PS5 player but in the meantime I started a new character in Light which works just fine. Hope this gets fixed soon. Thanks so much to all of you who traced and posted the results to get this resolved sooner!
Had the same issue all day, made an alt on a japan server , got in first try. Skipped cutscens til I could log out. Got on with my main on aether first try after. Also an optimum customer near nyc
I've been having this problem since last night too. Can log into alts on Gaia and Light just fine, but am getting 2002 errors with Crystal, Aether, and Primal. I've only intermittently even been able to get to the character select screen, and the game crashes when it fails. Northern New Jersey with Optimum too (all my homies hate Optimum).

Long Island Optimum user here. Having the same issues. Pattern I'm noticing is I go to login and as it's loading into Primal/Excal (my home server), I get disconnected. When I load the game up and try again, it gives me a login server error, and then seems to go back and forth between those two issues.
I can only seem to get in by sheer luck. This has been happening for me since last night.
EDIT: Should also add that I'm a PC player.

If your pc/ps who are with optimum I chatted with them here what they said <I can confirm our teams are currently working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We do not have an estimated resolution time available.>
You spoke with Optimum about it? What did you say/what kind of conversation etc. I'll give them a call too
So I'm at work in Manhattan now, we don't use optimum here and I got on fine. I can't post my info as I'm on the steam deck.
Was able to finally get on for a bit yesterday, but having issues AGAIN today... I live in northern New Jersey and have optimum wifi as well.
SO is it an issue with Optimum in this area or with Squenix???
New York area optimum member as well , both me and my gf having same issues connecting for past 2 days.
