Bad lag on the Japanese data center recently

I recently came back to playing FFXIV after 1-year-ish hiatus and have experienced bad lag (ping would be like 140 ms) and its get even worse at the evening. I occasionally being disconnected from the server or action delayed for like 1s+. A few months back before my hiatus, the ping was fine and progging savage/ultimate was no problem at all.
I'm playing from the SEA region, I have asked friends in my FC that are from SEA and they experienced the same lag as me.

Is there anyone with the same problem? Are there any broken underwater cable that affect connection from SEA to the Japanese data center?
