recently picked the game back up, was able to play for about 3 or 4 hours over the weekend and haven't been able to play since, was literally able to login once. i have been back and forth looking for solutions, but still getting the 2002 and 90105 error codes.

I spoke with there chat and relayed information and they are working get it fixed as soon as possible
Everyone its all Optimum isp members who are using there internet. All final fantasy 14 players having issue its Optimum isp. Keep calling them or there support to fix it. Also get square enix work on it from there end as will.
This isn't an Optimum issue, but Optimum can work around the issue by providing an alternate route out of their network to avoid the bad nodes.
The bad node seems to be somewhere between ntt.net (these people) and the NA Datacenter.
My traceroute from once it leaves Optimum's network:

If Optimum has already acknowledged that the problem is specifically on their end, and are currently working on getting it fixed, no amount of extra calls is going to get it done faster. As I posted earlier in the thread, these kinds of fixes take time to make sure fixing one problem doesn't cause 30 more somewhere else down the line. I appreciate the info that it's been acknowledged by Optimum though, although we had another user chime in that they aren't an Optimum customer and were having the same problem. I've also heard from users as far down as SC saying they had an issue connecting and logging in. So not really sure if it's specifically an Optimum-owned node and they're addressing it, or it's just the routing path that Optimum uses and they're working with the node owner to fix it. Either way, they've got people working on it so let's just keep our hopes up it gets resolved soon

I watch this streamer and her husband and they live in Florida. They also cannot login and Optimum does NOT reach this area. Optimum is strictly Tri-State.
