FFXVI and XIV connection theory

4. Shantotto is just magically involved in a fate during her XI event. It is not explained how she got here, but she is here. She isn't a strong example, because we don't know how she was in XIV, but I feel the need to at least put it here.

Shantotto's whole thing in FFXI is 1: to gain power to become the most powerful mage, and 2: figure out how to cross dimensions. Her event is a byproduct of her experiments in FFXI. Her mini-scenario has something very similar as a story.
