I came back to the game last November after a lengthy break to discover Gil Sellers / RMT is SO much worse than it was in 2018. How do we stop this? Ive reported over and over... Maybe a few times Ive noticed a break if they get banned after reporting, but they just come right back. How do other crafters and gatherer's deal with this? Lets not even get on the topic of FC housing wards having 30 of the same FC name. Clearly all owned by the same person with multiple accounts.

Id like to start putting names out there of known gil sellers but not sure if thats against ToS. You can sometimes tell by doing a player search inserting crafters name and looking at search info they have all crafters at max with only 1 DoW/M. And they are usually at an inn or apartment where they cant be seen, probably because they are using software to auto update retainers to undercut. What are the solutions for Square Enix to prevent and put a stop to this?

Every MMO has a problem with this. As soon as bots are banned, they pop right back up.

The only truly effective way to stop gil selling is for people to STOP BUYING GIL.

You can always tell by doing a player search inserting crafters name and looking at search info they have all crafters at max with only 1 DoW/M. And they are usually at an inn or apartment where they cant be seen, probably because they are using software to auto update retainers to undercut. LMAO you just described my alt. Seriously plenty have levelled just their main class and then done all their crafts. I also tend to craft in my room, INN or fc house.

Oh im sure lots of characters have one main job and crafters. (That was also me my first year of playing). But do you literally control the MB in every single niche and undercut every 10 seconds? Im just trying to help other crafters like me identify between a gil seller and regular player. I wish there was a way Square Enix could monitor this better.

Aye but your suggestion doesnt tell the difference from a player and a gillseller it's flawed. Like you too pointed out new players (1 class + crafts) and player alts who levelled just for specialities or expert recipes.

Theres no perfect way to find one, but this is as good of a way that I have found. I also described activities like immediate undercutting and controlling certain areas of the market board. A regular player cant generally do that unless you have alot of free time. Do you have other suggestions to find them? So reporting is easier?

I think 11's system with the AH counters a lot of the problems as you can't see the listed prices and only the price history. Only other way is detection software but they have already ruled that out. Also the recipes at the higher level should need to be done manual to have any chance of HQ.
