Any possibility of some afro/curly hair?

A lot of the options look down right terrible. We need something that's not a 70's afro or 1 loc options. There's so many afro textured hairstyles out there. I

The golden saucer fro looks downright jokey. Would've liked it more, if it looked like Sazh's from 13 for sure. It doubly sucks that their aren't any curly hairs for male miqote or other races. If you're hyur you can at least start off with a number 1.

Pretty sure we do have an afro hair option.

And believe me, I'm glad it's there. When I can only circle through an option of 2 curly hairstyle choices, it starts to look rough. And that's bending the fact that most braid options still look somewhat silky.

While there are some JRPGs that excel at diverse choices hair-wise - looking at you nioh 2 - it’s not unusual for our options to be sparse.

If I require a fix I just play western MMO’s for hairstyles that resembles my own. Guild Wars 2, for example. I’ve given up even hoping for hairstyles when Viera and Hrothgar are barely given the ones that presently exist.

Yeah, but much rather see some change happen for this game, and no it's not a problem that's inherent to only JRPG's. The only game I can even think of that does this in-depth, is 2k. Games like GW2 (and even ESO) stand out for sure, and I admire that the developers took the time to make hair like that. Problem is I don't really like GW2, and find myself not really being pulled into the story of ESO as much as this game.

I need a top fade, because yeah I have a highlander alt who's black but the only afro-centric options were the buzzcut with star, the afro and that short, braided one that roegadyn and hyur share. At least they didnt include cornrows (so many games use it when that hairstyle fell out already)

What about the longer braided style like Meffrid uses? I have that on my U tribe Miqo'te and I've seen a few other people go for the same combination of a dark-skinned character with that hairstyle.

I was at the 2016 FanFest and at the part were we could ask questions to the panel, it was asked when we were going to have curly hair in game. Their response was “wait for PS5”. PS5s are here, but no curly hair yet, so I take it they forgot or lied.

If that's the case, more will either come when the expansion drops or a couple patches down the line. They've gotta get fem hroth out the workshop first before they start adding more I assume. Thanks for the insight!

I'd love to see afro and curly hairstyle options added. I like my character looking at least somewhat similar to myself IRL. For me, it helps with immersion. I hope it can be added at one point ♥
