What do you think of crafting with remote desktop apps?

Same. THAT came as a huge surprise, I was more relieved than anything. Prudent Touch seems more effective than it used to be.

Yep, that and Preparatory and you can put together a decent set of macros that can HQ everything without much trouble.

I don't see why remote desktop is bad, if we are talking about what I think we are talking about.

Imagine if you remote into your PC from another device - login and quick synth 99 integral lumber. Then come back in 10 minutes and do it again. Not sure how that is wrong. I can't see how remote desktop and hitting a two button macro to craft is any different. Of course, the moment it is automated to repeat, that is against the ToS. I don't think there is anything in the ToS about remote desktop.

Crafting is already fully third-party. You get your bis melds from third-party sources, you meld what you have/can then you use a third-party app to get rotations for the stats you got in the end and then you manage mass crafting through it. And if you remote desktop to your PC then even more - nobody cares.

On the EW launch many used remote desktop access to start the queue while they are still at work to get in just as they come back
