    Skill/Spell Speed Should be Removed from Gear

    SKS/SPS is a very odd stat in that you don't necessarily benefit from having more of it. Different jobs are best used with particular speeds and going faster than your recommended speed is not usually ideal.

    For example, I main DRK at the speed of 2.50. This requires me to completely avoid SKS in any form. However, certain pieces of gear have SKS built into them, making those pieces impossible for me to use if I want to keep my current speed. Once you have access to BiS, for most gear slots this means simply picking the other equivalent option (either raid or tome), but sometimes this is not so simple.

    For this tier, both the tome weapon and the raid ring have SKS on them. This means that I will end up having to use a 620 unaugmented tome ring to avoid the raid ring's SKS. I also do not have the option of getting a tome weapon to help my group's DPS if needed or wanted. I am stuck with the Golbez weapon until the raid weapon drops for me. In addition, if I ever PF a savage reclear and I happen to get a piece of loot that has SKS on it, that piece would be very unoptimal for me to use, even if it has a higher ilv.

    Here is my proposed solution: remove SKS completely from gear's substats and make it something you get exclusively from melding with materia. This grants more control to the player to choose what speed they want to play at without restricting what kinds of gear they're allowed to use during prog or reclears. To compensate for this change, the values for SKS/SPS tiers would also be adjusted to require smaller amounts of the stat per stat tier.
