Why do I still see posts from a person on my ignore list.

Like the title says. I don't want to see any posts from a person on my ignore list. The forum is clogged with posts from that person and all of them are troll and or click bait posts.

if you don't want to see them just ignore them

you can use ublock origin to make custom filters if you really want to see no trace of them, but it might involve a bit of html knowledge and checking out the page source.

To be able to ignore something you have to know that it is there. And when you know that it is there you already have seen it.

But OP doesn't want to see it in the first place.

Because the forum software is ancient. But it's functional enough for SE to just shrug and let it be.

you still see them because SE refuses to moderate or come up with a working ignore feature

they probably do not because ignoring people would hurt their feelings...
