I'm so excited for this and I plan on resubbing XI after my next paycheck to get myself caught up ! The timing at the very least gives me some time to see if 2.0 delivers everything they promised and whether or not I want to continue with XIV (which I'm sure it will be wonderful). What I can't quite figure out are all the raging people who seem to have the mind set that you can only pick 1 game to play and you have to hate the other by default. Financial reasons set aside for some people, I plan on keeping both games open and enjoying them both, but all over the place I'm seeing so much close-minded malice bashing one game or the other because it's not their "main mmo".

I couldn't agree more! I love both games.. and as such can't wait to play this new expansion AND FFXIV 2.0 ( of course 1 game will catch more of my time than the other) BUT I still love both games and I'll be playing both.. if FFXIV isn't so hot.. then I can just simply go to FFXI full time :P.
