i guess SE decided to keep FFXI, i remember way back before WOTG came out they said it was gonna be the last expansion.

Because they were banking on XIV to succeed lol.

i dont know something tells me that they doing it cause on the chance that 14 tanks from 2.0, they gonna wanna bring more life back to 11 which still makes them money.
