Anyone else wish they would just get rid of this and make it a default feature of the house... outside furnishing is limited as it is for houses so I will take even one more slot.

Yeah, don't know why we still have to use it, that one slot makes a big difference when decorating your yard. Most people hide it anyways, I hid mine inside my otter fountain, kinda adds to it when it should have came with the otter holding a lamp.

It's been brought up many times in this subforum. I imagine at this point it's due to code that would be hard to fix considering some of the other QOL they've been able to implement over time.

I wouldn't want the item to be removed from the game completely though. I use it for outdoor lighting effects almost every time I change my yard. Just remove the teleport function and integrate that as a basic feature of the Estate Hall construction while allowing us to continue to use the item for decorative purposes (or not).

I had mine behind the house in that tiny spot at the back of the house and fence. can't really see unless you go looking for it. I don't think they are going to get rid of it.

We have multiple kinds of Striking Dummy so at the very least we should be able to get different variations of aetheryte crystal too. Since we are forced to use one item slot for teleportation I would like to have options.

This. The fact that it's just the default aetheryte appearance when we have multiple housing designs and striking dummies makes no sense.

I did the same with my otter fountain in front of my home and it actually goes well together imo. That would be a nice option to have since you can mix and match with many furnishings.

I don't use the mini Aetheryte because the sound it makes drives me nuts, lol. I'd sell my soul for a few more item slots anyway, I don't want to waste them on furnishings I don't like.

So I teleport to the city's main Aetheryte and walk/use Aetherytes inside the ward to get to my house. I've been doing this for years and I got used to it but I wouldn't mind a 'built-in' teleport feature (like apartments).
