    Nnnnot possible at all, with a few exceptions (the unique healing potions, the Patriot's stuff) which are acquired by talking to the Qiqirin black market cuteys in each city.

    They stated that most gear from one company will have comparable gear in another company. in some cases one company might have an advantage but its usually balanced out overall.. when they first came out with gear they really were imbalanced. its gotten better, but still isnt perfect
