Why They Return to put Exclusive item for TOP 100 again?

I am massively at odds with suggestions like "make the ranked thing purchasable with Trophy Crystals" because that defeats the entire purpose of that ranked currency. I don't give two f***s that some casual pvper finally gets access to Augmented Hellhound weapons, I do give a lot more than two if it meant Ranked player retention and incentivization had to tank further because of it. Ranked has enough of a hard time as is which isn't fixable with "fun improvement" alone.

Keep ranked currency in ranked, fix Trophy Crystals being meh in other ways.

You're assuming people don't do Ranked for Trophy Crystals or Series level, I say it's the opposite. If they put more stuff to buy with Trophy Crystals, more people will play Ranked thus "incentivizing" it in a more effective way than making exclusive stuff to attract elitist and smug people into it.

Even with a much more substantial amount of stuff in the crystal trophy shop, I don't think anyone would be willing to go through ranked solely just to get more crystal trophies. It would be much easier to go into Casual or Frontlines farm out series xp much more faster, efficiently, and with much less stress.

If you truly think that a tiny extra surplus of Trophy Crystals at the end of a season and the fundamentally equal Battle Pass EXP is what drives Ranked participation in the first place then you are out of your goddamn mind.

Yes you can get Series EXP and Trophy Crystals just as well from Ranked as you can from Casual, but that is not justification, that is an issue. If you see a benefit from having more competent games, great! But other than that Series EXP and Trophy Crystals are no more reason to do Ranked than to do Casual. If they improve Trophy Crystal vendor, it will drive more engagement in PvP in general with Ranked only receiving a scrap share of this, due to path of least resistence being Casual.

This isn't me assuming shit, this is me comparing both modes and their rewards, restrictions and benefits.

Pretty sure SE has given casuals more things to access over the last four major patches than Ranked has ever gotten. Not saying it as a reason you deserve to get less since adding more casual rewards to the game (more pvp vendor items/better series rewards) is just plain better for everyone both groups. However, a reward for people who manage to get into diamond/crystal/top 100 is fine.

You clearly were not around for the 18 seasons of feast before the overhaul.
see that armor Rein is wearing? Thats only one of the sets you could get from ranked at the time and casuals got nothing

casuals got like one set per expac and ranked got like 2 or 3 HIGH QUALITY sets.

I am aware of what it was like before the 6.1 rework. However, if we look at the way they are handling it now there has been far more rewards added, and they have added some old ranked feast rewards into that pool. Again, I think having more rewards for the casual majority is welcomed since it benefits everyone. Yet having at least one incentive for people to go into ranked outside of the prestigious value is not bad either. Every form of hard content in this game has that incentive, don't know why it shouldn't apply to ranked pvp.
