People are afk-ing and some do nothing in Casual it's actually more stressful, I want to have fun while farming lmao.Even with a much more substantial amount of stuff in the crystal trophy shop, I don't think anyone would be willing to go through ranked solely just to get more crystal trophies. It would be much easier to go into Casual or Frontlines farm out series xp much more faster, efficiently, and with much less stress.

If you truly think that a tiny extra surplus of Trophy Crystals at the end of a season and the fundamentally equal Battle Pass EXP is what drives Ranked participation in the first place then you are out of your goddamn mind. You're assuming people don't do Ranked for Trophy Crystals or Series level, I say it's the opposite. If they put more stuff to buy with Trophy Crystals, more people will play Ranked thus "incentivizing" it in a more effective way than making exclusive stuff to attract elitist and smug people into it.
Yes you can get Series EXP and Trophy Crystals just as well from Ranked as you can from Casual, but that is not justification, that is an issue. If you see a benefit from having more competent games, great! But other than that Series EXP and Trophy Crystals are no more reason to do Ranked than to do Casual. If they improve Trophy Crystal vendor, it will drive more engagement in PvP in general with Ranked only receiving a scrap share of this, due to path of least resistence being Casual.
This isn't me assuming shit, this is me comparing both modes and their rewards, restrictions and benefits.
Also lowkey annoyed of the bullshit narrative that exclusive stuff purely attracts elitists as you call them.

Oh wow, we can get materia from trophy crystals? Or were you talking about exchanging them for wolf marks and then materia. There's my evidence that the menus are too obtuse and a chore to navigate.
I'm all for them doing whatever change necessary to make ranked have more players, be that adding or removing exclusive or time-locked things, merging casual and ranked, allowing a group queue, balancing the modes on something other than win/loss rates, or actually cracking down on win traders.
More ways to get what you're after can only be a good thing: I enjoyed getting Manderville relics this expansion doing the content most fun to me this expansion: pvp. I didn't have to fight Garuda hard mode 400 times during specific 2 hour spans or grind fates on max level jobs in zones that suck for fates, or play ffxi. Not everyone agrees with me on this, but applying the same idea to pvp makes sense. Throw more stuff on the trophy vendors and the battle pass. Hell, maybe personalize the battle pass like Chloe books. If you make bronze last season, maybe it could offer you a personal, additional award for hitting silver this go around. Keeping people coming back and interested in improving makes the game better for everyone I'd think.

I know Overwatch had this exact system for unlocking gold weapons, and I thought it was great. Even if you were placed lower you still could realistically work towards getting an end reward. I think just adding any long term reward grind with ranked that rewards all ranks would be good and still encourage people to least try the mode out more.

To be honest if they add this with a new mode play, think this would be more accepting, beside the overwatch crystal pushing mode we had since 2 years ago.

I'm still waiting to see improvements or changes in ranked after the introduction of that ranked currency tbh. But maybe it's there, who knows, I don't have the data. Just not feeling it on my end.
they're gonna add armors because they refuse to believe that they messed up.
