In my case for materia when a new tier is coming, for melding the crafting gear (expensive option) and the battle gear, also I spend a lot on furnitures for my house, I'm very lazy to do my own furniture XD
Also I'm saving to move to a mansion if one day I won the lottery...

Nothing I just keep saving it up. I was going to upgrade to large housing plot then came the lottery where never won once on yet. Anything I need just gather it and craft it.
