Cannot login to my FFXIV account via Google Chrome?

Like the title says. I use Google Chrome as my main browser, but since a week or so I can't log in to my account at all. I can't login to the Lodestone, Account Management, or Mog Station. Every time I try I get this message:

    A technical issue has occurred.
Try accessing the site again. If the issue still has not been resolved, please contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center.

Yet I can log in using another browser like Micorsoft Edge (which I am doing now).

Now I have had a friend over at my place, and he's logged into his account to play on my PC. Could that have anything to do with it? (I doubt it, but you never know)

    I'm confused, please help!

Maybe you have a certain Ad Blocker extension running.

Possibly you have security feature set too high or other setting, I would check the Security options and see if any list "May break some sites" and you have them turned on.

Also check Cookie setting, might be blocking required ones.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

The described error is an error that is triggered by the system to protect accounts. Many actions can trigger this error, such as a slow internet connection, use of a VPN or an odd connection (EG: schools or cafes), a possible virus detected on the device, many rapid payments at once, and numerous other actions.

We advise clearing the cache/cookies/browsing data from your default web browser, disabling any web browser extensions (EG: ad-blocker), switching to private/incognito mode, switching to Microsoft Edge and trying again. You may also try using a smartphone running on a mobile data connection (WiFi disabled). We also suggest resetting the connection (router/modem) you are using to connect to the Internet before trying again.

Thank you once again for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
