You don't need to add a music toggle. Just don't make it loop.
Let it play once, then proceed to area music. AFAIK this is how I remember it working on FFXI.

yeah it's a good idea, but i prefer with a music toggle function..
so i can keep enjoying the music background without being cut by the chocobo themes when i need to run a chocobo..
otherwise you can set it default too if you want to hear the chocobo themes play when you're riding it..
so it's a good feautre i think..
