Yes. Never claimed otherwise. You DO test however if your multi-server setup of a massive project spanning literal continents has servers that can actually communicate with each other

Not, however, on the live systems. You have development and QA environments and the configuration on any of those could be out of sync with production or doesn't experience the same conditions that the production environment would. So then the bug only manifests when the live environment is working with the new code.

How exactly is the server that isn't doing the rolling supposed to do a reroll? The lottery server was doing the rolling. It had a valid result. That valid result was not being passed to the instance server due to a bug and in the absence of a result the code was displaying 0 for the end user.

Its kinda obvious at this point as the people who argue for the bug are non-raiders anyway. I would've just said "please fix this asap" and then see that they've addressed it for its fix this week and leave it at that, but people enjoy hearing the sound of their own farts and want to pass it around so that everyone can deal with it.

I did but i keep getting conflicting statements. People claim the reason for bug X is Y. When i or someone else mentions something like "that should have been caught in testing", a post like yours follows and then a movement of the goalpost where apperently the reason for X was actually Z all the time. I thought people knew stuff from like dev infos but it seems they make stuff up. Probably reasoning until everything ends in "something something spaghetti code; nothing they could do"

They did actually specify either - Which would imply that the logs are hidden or that they are grey logs.

It's a valid point to an extent - In that, if you have never touched the fight or cleared the fight, or ones of a similar nature then it's difficult to actually speak first hand about the topic itself, and the implication that the bug, or a bug has - This would stand true for any game or any piece of content within a game. Still though, regardless of this it is pretty weird if the first inclination is to look up peoples' logs in the first place.
