I guarantee if you took a look at pf you will see 0 parties with “p10s must have max crafters for kb cheese”. It doesn’t happen and it is a non issue. But it would be someone like you who would think a bug like this could be abused reliably. “Haha we have to wipe to damage our gear to the point where it becomes repairable so we can cheese this one moment in the fight 7 minutes in”

Go watch a P10S guide and look at the mechanic with the kb and maybe you can see why people are saying the cheese isn't a big deal. If it was more than just a dumb little thing you can do there would be updated videos from the likes of Hector.
