I would not care if they still did this. I'm sure there's many others who wouldn't too if it opened up the glamour pool massively, they're gonna do reskins anyways. Might as well let us have more optionsAre you referring to how things such as the Muzhik Coat(Reaper Top that you get from starting RPR) is essentially a slightly modified Void Ark Coat of Striking?
It's still a pretty crooked reason. It's just outright laziness then. They want to deny player's creativity over that?
I've posted this before, but it's funny how certain people are still trying to defend "consistency" and "immersion" when we already can have this:
If it's already this chaotic, there's no need to have restrictions at all. Especially when they hurt the actual immersive glamours.
Glamour without restrictions* is long overdue!
If you think so too, help keep the thread going!

To be fair, though FF has always had iconic outfits, it has also had some ridiculous outfits. And also some ridiculous outfits that are also iconic. It's clear just from combat gear, the devs have no concept of a unified aesthetic for this game.I've posted this before, but it's funny how certain people are still trying to defend "consistency" and "immersion" when we already can have this:

I personally don't mind having ridiculous outfits. In fact, the large variety of sets we have is quite nice - most MMOs don't come even close to having so many different styles. The problem is that the restrictions hurt creativity because they only apply to combat gear... and that's the gear that could benefit the most from mixing and matching.
