To be fair, though FF has always had iconic outfits, it has also had some ridiculous outfits. And also some ridiculous outfits that are also iconic. It's clear just from combat gear, the devs have no concept of a unified aesthetic for this game.I've posted this before, but it's funny how certain people are still trying to defend "consistency" and "immersion" when we already can have this:
If it's already this chaotic, there's no need to have restrictions at all. Especially when they hurt the actual immersive glamours.
