Sound Drop /game hangs on exit

I am experiencing sound drop during gameplay. I lose sound after a minute of gameplay. Hangs when exiting game and must use task manager or system reset to clear. Task manager shows using 1gb mem

System
Cpu Ryzen 7 2700x
Gpu Amd RX 6600
Mem: 32 gb
MB MSI B450

Has the audio issue been solved in this latest patch? I was one of the ones where the audio cut-out after 30-40 minutes. I've held back on progressing quest line as i would like to hear the sound. The issues was recognized two weeks ago - and it was said it would take two weeks to resolve - but i have not heard any further comment from SE as to whether the issue has been resolved....

At what point does the issue occur?
How often does the issue occur?

Does the issue occur with one character or multiple characters?
Were any update or changes made to the PC at the time of the issue?

Does this issue occur if the game is run in full screen mode? Does it happen in borderless or windowed mode?
