You should put "!" markers on the signs of the Island Sanctuary if there is an upgrade I can do to the houses. It's been 2weeks and only now I was told by an FC friend that you can upgrade all of the houses in the Island Sanctuary.

If this was told to me in some random dialogue box I wouldn't know because I probably wasn't paying alot of attention to what some mammet is saying to me.

What I do expect is that a videogame usually gives me a quest to do or points me in the right direction.

This sort of thing has happened to me in XIV COUNTLESS of times, where I learn about something the hard way and it's getting really frustrating. I'm not saying the game should handhold me through all of it, but at the very least if it's something new to a patch the game should 100% guide me to it.

When a new patch hits, this time 6.4, there is literally no way of knowing what is new content without going out of the game and reading some patch notes on a website.

Now, I can navigate myself to new story bits and raids, but when it comes to additional features to things like deep dungeon, eureka orthos, V&C dungeons or Island Sanctuary there's literally no way the game gives you a waypoint or notify you of any of this.

I can already bet that when 6.45 hits and the new V&C dungeon is out, everyone will refer to the patchnotes to find the NPC they want to talk to.

How many times have you heard there's a new Moogle Event going on and you have to ask somebody where the NPC is located?

This can't be this hard to do. I do NOT want to refer to some website all the time.
